How it works.

Make AI more useful in your working day.

You don’t need to become a technical expert to use AI well. With the right guidance, you can move beyond experimenting and start applying it to the work that matters to your business.
Whether you want to learn how to do more yourself or need help developing a specific idea, Instruction Works gives you a practical starting point. No coding skills or technical experience required.

AI Advisory and Practical Training.

£250 per hour

Many businesses are using free AI tools or paying for platforms such as ChatGPT, but still only use a fraction of what their account can actually do. With so many features, possibilities and ways to work, understanding what is useful and finding the time to properly explore and test it can quickly become overwhelming.
These practical sessions help you understand the features available to you, what they are useful for and how to apply them properly to your own work. Rather than simply showing you a list of tools, we work through relevant examples and help you identify where your account could be doing more for your business.

Understand what your account can actually do.

Depending on your account, the session can explore features such as Projects, Skills, research tools, files, images, personalisation and other available capabilities.
We explain what each feature does, where it can be useful and how it could fit into the way you already work, without overwhelming you with features you do not need.

Get more useful results from ChatGPT.

Learn how to give clearer instructions, provide better context and organise information so ChatGPT has a stronger starting point.
We can help you improve prompts, reusable instructions and the way you structure conversations, so your results become more relevant to your business and less dependent on starting from scratch each time.

Find better ways to use AI in your business.

Bring a real task, question or process to the session and we can work through it together.
That might involve marketing, sales, research, administration, communication or simply finding a better way to handle something you already do regularly.
The focus is on showing you practical ways to use the tools already available to you, rather than adding unnecessary software or complicated systems.

Use your account with more confidence.

The aim is for you to leave understanding more than you did when you started.
You should have a clearer picture of what your account offers, which features are relevant to you, how to use them more effectively and what is worth exploring next.

One-hour minimum at £250. Additional time can be agreed in 30-minute blocks at £125.

Bespoke AI Services.

Individually scoped and quoted

You might know what you want AI to help with, but not how to turn that idea into something practical.
Perhaps you want a dedicated ChatGPT Project for a particular area of your business. You may need a reusable Skill that follows your own process, a structured set of instructions and business information for your team, an internal GPT, a Site, or another AI setup designed around a specific task.
Bespoke AI Services are designed to take more of that building process away from you.

We can design the structure for you.

Instead of starting with a blank Project or trying to work out what instructions an AI tool needs, we can develop the structure around the way your business actually works.
Depending on the requirement, this could include creating:
  • Project instructions designed around a particular role, department or business process

  • Reusable Skills for repeatable tasks such as marketing, research, sales preparation or internal workflows

  • Structured business source documents that give AI clearer, more consistent information to work from

  • Internal GPTs or other supported AI configurations for defined business use cases

  • Prompts, instructions and workflow steps for recurring tasks

  • Sites or other AI-based tools where they are suitable for the requirement

  • Testing, guidance and handover materials so you understand what has been created and how to use it

Built around a real business requirement.

We start by understanding what you want to achieve, who will use it, what information it needs and what your current AI platform can support.
From there, we can assess the most suitable approach, agree the scope and build the required instructions, structure and supporting materials.
The aim is not to add AI for the sake of it. It is to create something useful that supports a clearly defined piece of work.

Make repeatable work easier to manage.

A well-structured AI setup can give recurring tasks a more consistent starting point.
That could mean a Project that already understands how you want marketing work approached, a Skill that guides a recurring research process, or a structured assistant that works from approved business information rather than requiring you to explain the same context every time.
You still remain in control of the information, decisions and final output, but you do not have to work out the entire setup from scratch.

From idea to something you can actually use.

Every bespoke project begins with an initial assessment and is individually scoped.
Before work begins, we agree what will be created, what is included, the intended use, testing and handover requirements, the price and the expected delivery approach.

Have something in mind? Tell us what you would like AI to help with and we can explore the most practical way to build it.

Learn the tools. Put them to work.

Combine practical training with Bespoke AI Services and you can go beyond learning individual features. We can help you understand what is possible, then design and build practical ways for AI to support the work your business already does.

That could mean creating the Project instructions, Skills, business source information, prompts and workflows for you. Where your account supports scheduled tasks, we can also explore ways for suitable work to be prepared automatically at an agreed time, ready for you to review.

Here are three examples of what that could look like in practice.

Marketing: open ChatGPT and find next week’s content waiting for you.

Imagine reaching Friday afternoon or Monday morning and your social media content for the coming week has already been prepared for review.
Instead of asking ChatGPT for posts one at a time, you could have a structured marketing setup built around your business, services, audience and brand voice. It could prepare content using your preferred marketing approaches, clear calls to action and the context ChatGPT needs to avoid generic, obviously AI-written drafts.
Your weekly content could include useful evergreen topics, relevant developments in your sector, service-led content and campaign material, with each post adapted to the platforms you actually use.
You review it, make any changes you want and decide what gets published.
Where supported by your account and included in the agreed setup, the preparation itself could run to a schedule. You would not need to remember to ask ChatGPT to start the process every week.

Business Opportunities: let AI do the searching before you start looking.

Imagine opening ChatGPT and being told that several potentially relevant projects, tenders, contracts or business opportunities have been identified from the agreed research period.
Rather than searching through websites yourself and then trying to work out what is worth investigating, a Business Opportunity setup could work from your services, target customers, preferred locations and the type of work you want to find.
The output could bring the useful information together, explain why each opportunity may be relevant to your business and prepare a tailored introductory email or response draft for you to review.
You remain responsible for deciding whether an opportunity is suitable and whether anyone should be contacted. But much of the research, organisation and first-draft preparation can already be done before you sit down to review it.
Where suitable scheduling is available and agreed, this could become a recurring research process rather than something you have to remember to start manually.

AI Workflow Suitability: find the next job AI could help with.

Perhaps there are other parts of your business that feel repetitive, manual or unnecessarily time-consuming, but you are not sure whether AI is the right answer.
A Workflow Suitability Assessment can help you work through a task properly before investing in a solution.
It can examine how the work currently happens, what information is involved, which decisions require human judgement, what could go wrong and which type of AI approach may be appropriate.
That might point towards a simple reusable prompt, a Project with dedicated instructions, a Skill, another supported AI configuration or, equally importantly, a process that should remain largely human.
The aim is to help you identify where AI could genuinely be useful, then decide whether it is worth taking the next step.

You do not have to build all of this yourself.

ChatGPT and other AI platforms are becoming increasingly capable, but getting real value from them often depends on how they are instructed, what information they are given and how the different features are configured around the work you want them to do.
That is where Instruction Works can help.
We can help you understand the tools, identify the opportunity and, through Bespoke AI Services, create the agreed structure around your business so you are not starting with a blank screen and trying to work everything out yourself.

Tell us what you want to understand, improve or create.

If you are unsure which service is right for you, send us a short overview of what you would like to achieve.

We can then determine whether the most appropriate next step is a practical AI session or an initial discussion about a bespoke project… Or both!
